Fun was had by all at this summer’s Pride events.ÌýBurnaby SchoolsÌýparticipated in the Vancouver Pride ParadeÌýon the August long weekend. Annually, staff, students, and families are invited to participate by either walking with the Burnaby School DistrictÌýfloat or cheering us along the parade route. Many smiling faces joined in the fun again this year, along with trustees and our superintendent.
The second annual Burnaby Pride Street Party happened on August 10ÌýandÌýBurnaby SchoolsÌýwas there. The event included community partners, local artists and performers, and an “epic” street party.
