AP Students writing their Advanced Placement exams had their own theme song, thanks to Burnaby North teacher Jennifer Cowley.
Usually I would hand out little goodie bags of exam tools and toys to get them through 鈥 a granola bar, some mint gum, a new pen, a bottle of bubbles.鈥
But as that wasn鈥檛 possible during exam time this year, she wanted to find a new way to support and encourage the students in this challenging program to reach for the stars. The AP English Literature teacher commissioned a talented friend, Mark D’Angelo, to create a song just for them, a battle cry of sorts.
